Cookies and local storage

Programonic does not set cookies of its own, and it has no accounts. It uses your browser's local storage, which stays on your device, to remember your theme, text size, reduced-motion choice, interface language, the position of the settings button, your compiler drafts and input, and your playground files.

Some outside services can set their own cookies or see your IP address: the content delivery network that serves the code editor (jsDelivr), our hosting provider, and, only if it is ever switched on, Google AdSense. Advertising is currently off. If it is turned on, Google and its partners may use cookies to show and measure ads, and you can opt out of personalized ads at adssettings.google.com. See the Privacy Policy for details.

You can clear local storage and cookies at any time in your browser's site-data settings. The site keeps working, but your preferences and drafts will be forgotten.
